Distilled by Jacobite Distillers in Glasgow this is my very first foray into the spirits market.

This small batch romantic rum is a tribute to Scotland's wild beauty created using a selection of perfectly paired  Scottish botanicals. A subtle tingle of natural nettle and mint with a hint of heather and wild elderberry.

Scottish Botanical White Rum

Welcome to the wild side of Scotland – bottled. This botanical white rum is a bright, spirited celebration of mint-kissed breezes, nettle-speckled hillsides, soft heather blooms and juicy elderberries gathered from the edges of our untamed landscape. It’s where Caribbean warmth meets Scottish wonder, resulting in a delightfully unexpected dram with an unmistakably cheerful twist.

A Rum With a Scottish Accent

This isn’t your typical tropical tipple. It’s a rum with real character – confident, colourful and entirely itself. Smooth Glasgow-distilled white rum is blended with a quartet of homegrown botanicals to capture the magic of a Scottish meadow in full flourish. The result is a flavour that feels both familiar and fantastical: fresh, floral, fruity and ever so slightly feisty.

Flavour Notes

A marvellous medley of:

  • Mint — bright, breezy, brilliantly refreshing
  • Nettle — naturally earthy with a woodland whisper
  • Heather — soft, floral and wonderfully calming
  • Elderberry — dark, juicy depth with a berry-rich flourish

Added at carefully chosen stages of the distillation process, these botanicals come together to create a spirited sip that dances across the palate with smooth warmth and playful wildness.
